Spreading Some Smiles Campaign

“Spreading Some Smiles”

On the Friday before Thanksgiving, Randieh Kassouf stood up during Morning Prayer to tell his fellow students how he and his family wanted to spread smiles to others this Christmas Season.  Randieh, along with his siblings, Marie-Belle and Georges, thought of the idea of bringing smiles to the patients in Children’s Hospital by raising funds through a Go Fund Me Account and bringing toys to the children. The PTG felt that this was a wonderful idea and wanted to know how we, as a school, could help.  After some discussions, we decided to ask all of you to help the Kassouf family reach their goal!  To get involved, we are asking that you send in a gift for one of the patients in the hospital.  To teach our children the true meaning of Christmas, we thought it would be fitting to have your child write a letter that could go along with the gift, wishing the patients a Merry Christmas and letting them know that we are praying for them.  All gifts can be sent in through the school and must follow the guidelines below.  Gifts must be sent in by December 7th

You can also help by donating to the Go Fund Me page at https://www.gofundme.com/n9gqzt-make-a-kid-smile.

On Friday, December 15th, after school, the Kassouf family and the PTG will be meeting in the Rutkowski Religious Education Building (the red brick house near the Bower Hill Rd. entrance) to put bows on all the gifts, organize them, and load the truck.  We are looking for some volunteers to help with the process.  If you can lend a hand, please email Jessica Heckroth at jess0314@verizon.net or Aida Kassouf at nakassouf@hotmail.com. Please consider coming with your child to help and let’s spread some smiles this Christmas Season!
